Not Using
Shock Therapy
As much as we would like to not believe it,
our bodies are used to change. So the moment we start feeding the same thing
over and over again, it gets immune to it and stops burning any extra calories.
So if you continue the same diet and the same fitness regime for months on end,
there will come a time when your body will stop responding to them. In that
case, use shock therapy. Change your routine, introduce new workouts and
exercises.
Not Lifting
Weights
A lot of trainers might tell you that start
easy and don’t push your body while losing weight. That’s not exactly true.
Experts across the globe swear by the idea of lifting weights in order to lose
weight. Strength training is amazing way to replace fat with lean muscle and
boost your metabolism. It even increases your ability to eat fewer calories
without doing damage and results in a hormonal release that enhances fat loss.
Extremely Low-Fat
Diet
Everyone tells you to avoid fat. But very few
people will tell you which fats are good and which ones are bad. Fats
from sugar, sweets, and oily stuff add to your weight gain and cause high blood
sugar. But if you eat the right kinds of fat, particularly from healthy sources
such as olives, coconut milk, coconut oil, nuts, or yoghurt, your body can use
that fat as a fuel. Studies suggest that a low-carb, high-fat diet may actually
be best for healthy weight loss.
Too Many
Calories
Too much of anything is bad for you. Heard
that before, right? You don’t need to continuously stuff yourself with food
with the excuse of snacking on small meals for better metabolism. It will
ultimately lead to more weight gain and excessive calorie-consumption compared
to eating several square meals of the day.
Depending On the
Pill
More often than not, most of us tend to take
the short cut and depend on the pill when weight loss gets tough. These
pills, capsules, or powders that promise to reduce appetite cravings or
increase fat or carbohydrate burning actually don’t contribute at all to your
fat burning. Also, these tend to make you lazy and you end up missing out on
the more important regime of workouts and healthy eating.
